For the past year I've been obsessed with this peculiar phenomenon called the Mandela Effect.Â
--------------------------------------------------------------------
For those of you , who have literally no idea what I'm talking about, the Mandela Effect is a psychological phenomenon called false memory. It's basically when a lot of people have a memory of something, but when you look back, it never actually happened.Â
-------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's go through some examples :Â
1. "We are the Champions" by Queen. đÂ

Many of those familiar with the song remember the final lyrics being âNo time for losers, âcause we are the championsâŠof the world!â Guess what? There is no âof the world!â The song just ends.
2. The Monopoly man. đÂ

There are a number of people who canât seem to grasp how the Monopoly man is monocle-less, when they've distinctly known him to have one.
3. Pikachu's tail. đž

People remember there being a black mark on Pikachu's tail, but if you take a look at Pikachu now, youâll see nothing there.
4. Kit Kat.đ

Some people seem to remember there being a dash in Kit Kat, making it âKit-Kat,â but there isnât one, and that frustrates them because theyâre sure that once upon a time, there was one.
5. The Queen in Snow White. đžđ»Â

This one messed with my head far more than the other ones have. While the famous Snow White quote youâve probably heard others say and repeated yourself is âMirror, mirror on the wall,â it turns out the correct line is âMagic mirror on the wall.â Some people also remember the second part of that quote being âWho is the fairest of them all?â but apparently it's âWho is the fairest one of all?â.
So there you guys go, I hope you enjoyed the post and stay tuned for more creepy Mandela effects! đ€
